Evelyn Florence Cole

Evelyn Florence Cole, 100 of Hanover, PA passed peacefully Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Homewood at Plum Creek. Born May 8, 1916 in Baltimore County, MD she was the daughter of the late Howard Cleveland and Lula Belle Thompson Bull. She was the wife of the late Elmer Preston Cole who died in 1999.
Years ago, she was a Laundress. She was a member of the 4-Square Methodist Church Club, the Homemakers Club and Falls Road Methodist Church.
She is survived by her god-daughter; Linda Ann Anderson of Sparks, MD, siblings; Doris Layesman of Stewartstown, MD, Edith Martin and Anna Rosier both of Parkton, MD. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings; Grover, Arthur and Harvey Bull.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30am. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery, Parkton, MD.
