Evelyn Jeannette (Miller) Nott, age 78, a resident of Columbia Cottage, Hanover, PA formerly of Manchester, MD passed peacefully Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Hanover Hospital in Hanover, PA.
Born August 19, 1937 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late H. Walter and Ella Florence Lippy Miller. She was the wife of the late Donald L. Nott who died July 25, 2014.
She was retired from E-Z Industries. She was a lifelong member of Millers United Methodist Church and enjoyed shopping excursions and being with her family.
She is survived by her children; Donald L. Nott, Jr. and wife Karen of Manchester, Vicki L. Stickles and husband Bruce of Glenville, PA and Carol J. Macklin and husband Jim of Hanover, PA; grandchildren, Danny and Denise Nott and fiancée Bryan Hoff, Sam and Olivia Stickles; siblings, Lois Neumann of Hanover, PA, Charles Ivan Miller of Manchester, MD, and Helen Dickens of Westminster, MD. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings; George Henry Miller, Ethel Detter, Herbert Eugene Miller, Walter Miller, Jr., Pauline Roth, Louella Sanders and Ruthetta Redding.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Wednesday July 13, 2016 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD with a funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Millers United Methodist Church, 3435 Warehime Rd. Millers, MD with the Rev. Dr. Arthur D. Thomas officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
