Everett Ray Christian, Sr., 88, of Glenrock, PA died Monday, February 24, 2014 at his home.
Born September 5, 1925 in Wayne County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Curtis Christian and Stella Mae Trogland Christian. He was the husband of Reviva Mae Klinefelter Christian, his wife of 66 years.
He was a truck driver for Anchor Motors. He was a member of the Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling and golfing and was an avid Baltimore Orioles and Raven fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughter Kay Knotts-Fishel of Dillsburg, PA; his siblings Rex Christian of Hunting, WV and Mary Belle Castle of Wayne Co., WV; his 10 grandchildren; and his 23 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his children Everett Ray Christian, Jr. and Karen Ann Ringrose.
The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 8 p.m.
A private cremation will follow at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester and the interment will be private.
