Felicitas Genoveva "Faye" Seifert 88 years old of Westminster, died Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Carroll Hospital Center. Born January 3, 1928 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Umberto and Bertha Penger. She was the beloved wife of John Walter Seifert.
Faye married her beloved husband on March 22, 1958. She was a homemaker, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the church choir for 33 years. Faye fled with the Spickshen family at the end of WWII and was lovingly accepted as part of the family. She worked at the Spickshen gasthaus in Dannenfels, Germany where she met her husband in 1956.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children and their spouses: John Dale Seifert and his wife Irene, Mark Anthony Seifert and his wife Karen, Felicia Gwen Herman, her husband Charles and 6 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy Patricia Seifert.
Visitation held on Friday, September 2, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 3rd, 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon.
Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
