Florence Ann Sipes age 70 of Manchester, MD died Friday May 30, 2014 at the Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, MD.
Born July 15, 1943 in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late Edward Donald and Jane Tewey Sipes.
Years ago she was a hairdresser for the former Gemell Hairdresser.
She is survived by her siblings: Edward Sipes and wife Mary of Swanton, MD, Betty Draayer and husband Edward of Parkville, MD, Helen Emma and husband Mike of Florida, Joseph Sipes and wife Lori of Pennsylvania, Bernadette Nowlin and husband Terry of Manchester, MD and Leonard Sipes and wife Barbara of Perry Hall, MD. She was also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral liturgy will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD on Monday at 11:00am with Rev. Fr. Michael Roach as the celebrant.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, MD.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gilchrist Hospice Care, 11311 McCormick Rd. Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
