Frances Louise Diehl

Frances Louise Diehl, 84, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at BridgingLife Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born on October 8, 1937, in Owings Mills, MD, she was the daughter of the late Irvin Leroy Constantine, Sr. and Norma Louise Buckingham Constantine. She was the beloved wife of the late James Edward Diehl, Sr., who passed away in 2013.

Frances was a longtime member of Wards Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, and she also enjoyed board games, jigsaw puzzles, gardening, bowling, music, and traveling with her husband after their retirement.

Surviving her are her children: Diane Gordon and husband Kelley of Westminster, MD, Janice McCleary and husband Joe of Florida, James E. Diehl, Jr. of Sykesville, Terry Cimino and husband Tony of New Market, MD, and Connie Gabriel and husband Don of Federalsburg, MD, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a sister: Dorothy "Dot" Skidmore of Pennsylvania.

She was predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, August 8, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, at 11 am, with Pastor Steven Cho officiating.

Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
