Frances Elizabeth Peregoy, 75, of Finksburg died Monday, September 20, 2010 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born February 6, 1935 in Page County, VA, she was the daughter of the late John William Lentz and Hazel Evelyn Shipe Lentz. She was the wife of Raymond Melcher Peregoy, Sr., her husband of 60 years.
She was a daycare provider to many children and attendant at Rosewood State Hospital. She was breast Cancer survivor.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Donna L. Nutting of Finksburg, Ruth Ann Reagan of Littlestown, PA, Raymond M. Peregoy, Jr., of Finksburg, and W. Emory Peregoy of Littlestown; her brothers John W. Lentz of Dundalk and Fred O. Lentz of Rileyville, VA; her 8 grandchildren and her 9 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
