Francis Gene Custer, 77 years old of Westminster, died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Westminster Ridge Assisted Living.
Born June 19, 1936 in Baltimore County, he was the son of the late Maurice D. Custer and Evelyn Mulliniux Custer.
He was the husband of the late Viola L. Greaser Custer who died in 2003.
He served honorably with the U.S. Marine Corp.
He is survived by his children and their spouses: Louis and Robin Diehl, Harry Diehl and his fiancee Alice Cohoon, Donald Diehl, Steven and Shelly Diehl, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his brother Gary Custer.
He was predeceased by his son Gary Custer and his other siblings.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 5th, 2:00 PM at the Westminster Ridge Assisted Living, in the Great Room, 505 High Acre Drive, Westminster, MD 21157.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to: Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave, Westminster, MD 21157
