Francis Seitz Hann, 81, of Manchester died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born May 24, 1926, in Greenmount, he was the son of the late Claude and Bertha Rohrbaugh Hann. He was the husband of Hilda Hare Hann, his wife of 55 years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired scenic carpenter for Maryland Public Broadcasting in Owings Mills.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester.
He enjoyed bowling and fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Raymond L. Ensor of Manchester; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Cecilia Hann of Newark, Del.; brother and sister-in-law Vernon and Nellie Hann of Lineboro; five granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers Russell and Stanley Hann; and sisters Marie Krichton, Charlotte Garmer and Hazel Hann.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with the Revs. Matthew and Norma Schenning of Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in the New Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel.
