Francis William Johnson III, 66, of Manchester, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at home.
Born March 3, 1946, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Francis William Johnson Jr. and Ann Margaret Plowman Johnson.
He was an auto mechanic. He was an Air Force veteran and a former member of the American Legion.
Surviving are a son, David Johnson, of Manchester; grandsons Steven and Scott Johnson; a great-granddaughter, Bailey Johnson; and brothers Stephen Michael Johnson, of Abingdon, and Timothy Mace Johnson, of Parkville.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
Arrangements are by Eckhardt Funeral Chapel in Manchester.
