Frank Long Burke

Frank Long Burke, 99, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021, at his home. Born on February 25, 1921, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Edgar James and Bessie Cornelia Morris Burke. He was the beloved husband of the late Augusta Ida Burke, who passed away in 2005.

Years ago, Frank worked in Food Management for Greyhound. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and served during World War II.

Surviving him are his children: Frank C. Burke of Frederick, MD, and Bridget Ann Zombro and husband Charles of Hanover, PA, grandchildren: Bethany, Jason, and Allie, and great-grandchildren: Danielle, Mackenzie, and Gemma.

He was predeceased by a daughter: Yvonne Marie Allender, daughter-in-law: Mary Ellen Burke, grandson: Brian C. Burke, and brother: Edgar J. Burke.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, funeral services and interment are private.
