Frank A. Zamecki, 91 years old of Reisterstown, died Friday, July 24, 2009 at the Long View Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born April 5, 1918 in the Canton section of Baltimore, he was the son of the late Walter and Helen Antczak Zamecki.
He was predeceased by his wife, Martha Pauline Zamecki in 1999.
Mr. Zamecki served honorably with the U. S. Navy in WWII. He was a machinist with Eastern Stainless Steel in Essex. He volunteered at the Museum of Industry in Baltimore.
He is survived by his sons and daughter's-in-law Michael E. and Janet Zamecki of Reisterstown and Thomas E. and Gretchen Zamecki of Westminster, his sister Lillian Belleman of Catonsville and 4 grandchildren.
Friends may call on Monday from 9-10 AM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM.
Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
