Fred Dandridge "Whitey" Affleck, 82, peacefully returned to the awaiting arms of his beloved Father on August 5th 2013 at his residence in Reisterstown, Maryland.
Fred was born November 17, 1930 in Winchester, Virginia. He was the son of Garnett and Martha Affleck.
Fred graduated from Catonsville High School and attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute.
On October 27th 1951, Fred wed Mary Elizabeth Gudalewsky. He served as a Military Policeman during the Korean War in Germany. Upon his return, he began his life as an adoring father and hardworking husband. He was an avid reader and car and sports enthusiast who gave his time, knowledge and love to his wife, three sons, family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Affleck, sons: John F. Affleck, spouse Carrie; Steven E Affleck, spouse Karen, Michael L. Affleck, spouse Heather and sister, Phyllis Frederick, spouse Fran. He was proud grandfather of Ashley Freyer, spouse Sean, Lindsay, Rachel, Pierce, Livia Affleck and great granddaughter Chloe Freyer.
Fred was predeceased by his Mother, Martha Affleck and Father, Garnett Affleck and brother Joseph Garnett Affleck.
Cremation private.
