Fred E. Tenney, Jr. 84 years old of Cockeysville, died Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium.
Born October 23, 1930 in Owings Mills, he was the son of the late Fred Tenney and Mamie Louise Townsend Tenney. He was the husband of the late June L. Markus Tenney, who died in 2013.
He was a librarian for Baltimore County for 40 years.
He is survived by his children: Loretta Weaver, Philip Tenney, Robert Tenney and Marie Tenney, his sisters: Cora McCauley, Bettye Jackson and Bernice Scholl, grandchildren: Jennifer Weaver, Maegan Thomas, Melanie Lineweaver, Christian Tenney and a great grandson, Elijah Thomas.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
