Frederick "Fred" Eugene Boog

Frederick "Fred" Eugene Boog, 66, of Manchester, MD, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 21, 2021 at UPMC Hanover in Hanover, PA. Born on April 21, 1955, in Hanover, PA, he was the son to the late Harry F. Jr. and Helen LaRue (Boerner) Boog. He was the beloved husband to Debra Jo (Reaver) Boog.

Fred was a graduate of North Carroll High School Class of 1973. He was employed by Stambaugh Excavating as the Shop Foreman. He loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Fred was a proud grandfather and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play football, wrestle, and dance. He treasured spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by his sons: Christopher Boog and Adam Boog, both of Manchester, MD, grandchildren: Jacob, Cru, and Emsley, and sister: Deborah Ann Boog-Sherman of Hampstead, MD. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors for a memorial gathering on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 6-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102.

Interment is private.
