Frederick Melvin Frey, Jr., age 57, of Glen Rock, PA died Friday April 3, 2015 at the Manor Care Health Services Nursing Care in York, PA.
Born Sept. 21, 1957 in Lancaster, PA he was the son of the late Frederick Melvin and Ruth Elizabeth Shoff Frey, Sr. He was the husband of Patricia Ann Horine Frey whom he married April 26, 2004.
He attended Penn Manor High School. He had worked for Nissin Food for 20 years, Four Seasons and Pennfield Feed Company and most recently retired from the State of Maryland. He was an avid fisherman, motorcyclist, loved the water, boating, and his canine friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his brothers and sisters-in-law Robert A. Frey and wife Sharon of Lancaster, PA, Harry Frey and wife Teresa of Quarryville, PA; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dan Whelan and wife Janet of Westminster; his sister-in-law Sharon Kemmler of Halethorpe; his niece; and his 3 nephews.
A memorial gathering will be 10:00am Saturday at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with a memorial service to follow at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MAS Rescue, P.O. Box 5143, Baltimore, MD 21224 or the ASPCA.
