Freeda Martin Gibson, 95, formerly of Eldersburg, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Brethren Home Community, New Oxford, Pa.
Born July 12, 1912, in Edam, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Olivia and Charles Knotts. She was the wife of Phillip Clayton Martin.
She was a member of Church of the Open Door, Westminster.
Surviving are sons Harry, John and Phillip Martin; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Church of the Open Door, 550 Baltimore Blvd., Westminster.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350.
Arrangements are by Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, Manchester.
