Gail Grimes Hudgins

Gail Grimes Hudgins, 75, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD. Born on May 12, 1948, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Melvin "Mebbs" and Ruth Ernestine "Teeny" Benson Grimes. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to Roland "Gene" Hudgins.

Gail liked gardening, and feeding and watching the birds.  She enjoyed spending time with her pets and her family.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her in addition to her husband are sons: Jason Hudgins and wife Jessica, and Ryan Hudgins and wife Mary, grandsons: Ian and Grayson, granddaughter: Chrysta, and brother: Lynn Grimes and wife Leslie.

She was predeceased by her brother: Gary Grimes.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, December 21, from 11 am – 1 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will begin at 1 pm.

Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's name may be made to the Baltimore Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Rd, Reisterstown, MD 21136.
