Gary L. Sprinkel, Sr.

Gary L. Sprinkel, Sr., 79, of Owings Mills, MD passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at his daughter's home in Westminster, MD. Born on February 11, 1944, in Owings Mills, MD, he was the son of the late William Sprinkel, Sr. and Lillian Robinson Sprinkel. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann Clark Sprinkel, who passed away in 2018.

Gary was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968.  Gary was a dedicated family man and an extremely hard worker.  He enjoyed a 60 year career in the automobile industry and worked until age 78 when his illness prevented him from continuing.
Gary was caring, generous and loyal.  He had a soft spot for animals and shamelessly spoiled his little Yorkie, Sophie.  Gary was the man you called to make things happen.  Our favorite phrase was, "I don't know how to do that but I know a guy."  That guy will be deeply missed.

Surviving him are children: Kimberly Lang, Gary Sprinkel, Jr. and wife Katherine Householder, grandchildren: Corey Sprinkel, Rachel Lang, Christina Sprinkel, and siblings: James Sprinkel and Linda Haymire.

Gary was predeceased by siblings: William Sprinkel, Jr., Gladys Markey, and Betty Brady.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, September 8, from 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117.

Private interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery will take place at a later date.
