Geneva "Louise" Pruitt

Geneva "Louise" Pruitt, 89, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on October 1, 2024, at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Long View in Manchester, MD.  Born on March 1, 1935, in Bristol, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Pruitt, Sr. and Lillian Beatrice Phillips Pruitt.

Louise retired from Springfield State Hospital as a medical secretary. Years ago, she taught Sunday School at Colonial Baptist Church for at least 10 years.  She loved traveling around the country with her friends when she was younger.  Louise also liked reading, going shopping, and celebrating holidays, especially Christmas.  She enjoyed going antique shopping and spending time with her sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Dennis.

Surviving her is a sister: C. Elaine Grote and husband Dennis of Hampstead, MD, nephew: Eric Spencer, 2 great-nieces, and 1 great-great-nieces, all of South Carolina.

Louise was predeceased by her brothers: William Eugene Pruitt and Robert L. Pruitt, Jr.

A private interment will take place in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
