On June 12, 2011, George W. Heck, Jr. devoted companion of 20 years to Mary Lee Ward.
George served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1940-1945. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University and retired from the Baltimore County School System as principal. He enjoyed traveling and golf. His later years were spent homebound where he enjoyed the company of family and friends. George passed away peacefully at age 89 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Rd. Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
Interment at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
