George Wm. Knisley, Iii

George Wm. Knisley, III, 67, of Manchester, MD, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at his home. Born on July 5, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Rita Marzola Scurto of Towson, MD and the late George W. Knisley, Jr. He was the husband of Regina Bernadette Widra Knisley.

George worked as a warehouse manager for the produce business at W.D. Class and Son. He enjoyed collecting trains and John Deere tractors, woodworking, hunting, and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are children: Gina Heilman of Hanover, PA, Georgina Knisley of Manchester, MD, George Knisley, IV, and wife Amy of Manchester, MD, Gary Knisley and wife Lisa of Hanover, PA, Joseph Bauerlein and wife Jen of Hampstead, MD, and Kristine Utz of Manchester, MD, siblings: Linda Knisley of Baltimore, MD and Albert Knisley and wife Carol of South Carolina, grandchildren: Gabrielle, Logan, Erin, Jaden, Alex, Josie and Jake, and grandpups: Saphire, Finn, and Storm.

The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, on Friday, December 8, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, with a funeral service to begin at 8 pm.

Interment is private.
