George "Prent" P. Pettee Jr., 88, of Reisterstown, MD, passed peacefully Friday, November 4, 2016 at Carroll Hospice, Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born July 7, 1928 in Casa Grande, Arizona, he was the son of the late George P. Sr. and Nona Pettee. He was the husband of 66 years to Rosemary Catherine Mallgren Pettee.
He worked for many years as a manager for Maryland Casualty Insurance company and worked at Belk Department Store in Westminster for many years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Ann Deitrick and husband Jim of Ellicott City, and Susan Brower and husband David of Baltimore County, grandchildren: Michael, Megan, Jason, and *Jessica* and numerous great grandchildren.
Services and interment are private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
