George Francis Ringrose

George Francis Ringrose, 67, of Reisterstown, MD passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at his home. Born on February 28, 1950, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Gloria Elizabeth Ringrose and the late James Carroll Ringrose. He was the husband of Sancie Ann Ringrose.

Chief Warrant Officer George F. Ringrose spent 26 years in the U.S. Navy traveling around the world. He continued his Federal service career working for the Department of Veteran Affairs. He enjoyed owning and operating his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and spending time with his family.

Surviving him are his children: Angela Felts, Marc Ringrose, Bryan Ringrose, Michael Ringrose, Christopher Torres, Steve George, Jr., Samantha George-Plitt, and Anthony George, and 17 grandchildren. George is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 1, 2017, from 3-5 and 7-9 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, with a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 2 at the funeral chapel. Interment will be at a later date in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
