George H. Tutor age 39, of Westminster, MD., died suddenly July 23, 2009 as a result of a helicopter accident in Smithsburg, MD.
Born Oct. 23, 1969 in Canada he was the son of Nancy M. (Glynn) Tudor of Westminster, MD. and George H. Tutor, Sr. of Pennsylvania.
He was a 1988 graduate of North Carroll High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during Desert Strom Gulf War. He worked as an electrician with different companies and was employed with Baltimore Gas & Electric Home until the end of June 2009. He was an avid outdoorsman and adventurer. He was always interested flying and had recently received his helicopter pilot license. He was employed at Advanced Helicopter in Frederick, MD.
Surviving in addition to his parents is a daughter: Jessica L. Tutor of Westminster, MD.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Thursday July 30, 2009 at 8:00 PM.
Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 until the time of service.
In lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to Nancy Tudor, P.O. Box 408, Hampstead, MD. 21074 for Jessica's education.
