Georgianna P. Harvey

Georgianna Price Harvey, 93, of Hanover, PA., formerly of Upperco, MD, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, at Homewood at Plum Creek Health Care Center in Hanover.

Born November 18, 1928, (the same day that Mickey Mouse was "born") she was the daughter of the late John Franklin Price and Myra Genevieve Cole Price. She was the wife of the late Thomas Donald Harvey her husband of 57 years.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Upperco, MD, and attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Reisterstown, MD. She was a 1947 graduate of Franklin High School.

She enjoyed singing, church activities, cats, gardening, handicrafts, reading, puzzles, collecting Mickey Mouse items and taking care of her family.

Surviving are a son, David Wayne Harvey and wife Vicky of Reisterstown, a daughter, Debra Jean Eaves and husband Curtis of Norfolk, VA: grandsons, J. Daniel Harvey of Cockeysville and Thomas N. Harvey and fiancée Line of As, Norway; a sister Emmalie Myra Bolte of Reisterstown; a sister-in –law Norma Lee Carver of Taneytown, and granddog, Nikita. She had many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by brothers Harry Franklin Price and Rev. John Olan Price, and by sister Ruth Louise Brown.

Viewing at 9:30am followed by a funeral service at 11:00am officiated by Reverend Doctor James W. Di Raddo will be held at ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Reisterstown.
