Gerald Kirk Gibson, Sr.

Gerald Kirk Gibson, Sr., 73, of Finksburg, MD, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at his home. Born on November 22, 1945, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Gerald Stanley and Madge K. Gibson (née Bohon).

Gerald was a graduate of Franklin High School, studied computer programming at The Baltimore Institute, and was a journeyman plumber by trade. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He loved fishing and nature, and was a longtime member of the Liberty Bass Masters. During retirement, he enjoyed birdwatching in his backyard and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving him is a son: Gerald K. Gibson, Jr.

He was predeceased by a brother: Michael D. Gibson, and a niece: Jessica Gibson.

Funeral services and interment are private.
