Gerald Gordon Wheeler age 73 of Finksburg, MD, died Thursday Jan. 22, 2015 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. Born May 11, 1941 in Baltimore County was the son of the late Edgar M. and Elizabeth L. Rohde Wheeler.
He was a self- employed contractor. He was a 1959 graduate of Franklin High School and a member of the Reisterstown American Legion. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Maree Kyle Wheeler, Josephine Braz, the mother of his sons, Jeffrey Wheeler of Pasadena, MD and James Wheeler and wife Amy of Hanover, PA., brother, Robert Wheeler and wife Judith of Westminster, MD. He was also survived by 5 grandchildren.
He is predeceased by a sister, Joyce Wheeler Chronhardt.
The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd., Owings Mills, MD. on Monday February 2, 2015 from 3-4 pm.
