Geraldine "Gerry" Pittinger, 82, of Reisterstown passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 surrounded by her family at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born July 6, 1932 in Wilson, NC, she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel Durham. She was the wife of James Donald Pittinger, who passed away in 1994.
Years ago, she work for Black and Decker on the assembly line and later as a professional chef.
Surviving are her children Martin Pittinger and wife Lisa, Michael Pittinger, and Mitchell Pittinger and wife Juliana; her grandchildren Michael, Jr., Brittany, Megan, and Molly; and her brother Ricky Durham.
She predeceased by her grandson Timothy Pittinger and her brothers Billy and Ted Droneburg.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday.
Interment will be in the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dove House, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
