Gerard B. Wagner Jr., 65, of Reisterstown, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Straub Hospital Honolulu, Hawaii.
Born Jan. 1, 1946, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Gerard Balthasar Wagner Sr. and Erma Ruth Heidel Wagner. He was the husband of Linda Susan Walter Wagner, his wife of 43 years.
He was a driver for Living Green Landscaping and years ago he had been a driver for Santoni's in Glyndon. He attended St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church in Manchester; and he enjoyed golf and sports.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Dawn Wagner, of Westminster, Craig Wagner and wife Carolyn, of Hanover, Pa., and Robin Hoff and husband Aaron, of Taneytown; and a sister, Diane Menninger, of Sykesville.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Fr. Michael Roach officiating. A private cremation will follow at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may sent to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979; or to St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, attn: Building Fund, P.O. Box 448, Manchester, MD 21102.
