Gerry Miller

Geraldine Marie "Gerry" Miller, 73, of Manchester passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at her home. Born March 3, 1942 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late William Bess and Mary Eleanor Blevins Bess. She was the wife of Phillip Miller, her husband of 56 years. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Manchester and was retired from Miller Gas Company. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, and caring for animals.
In addition, she is survived by her children Michelle Stevens and Herbert W. Miller; her siblings Mary Shaffer, Sandy Sanders, and Sue Myers; her 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Phillip R. Miller, Jr., her brothers William Bess and Richard Frock; and her great-grandchildren Timothy Hudler, Jr. and Samantha Hudler.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with a funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 3229 York Street, Manchester with her pastor the Rev.
