Gladys Wheeler-Cofiell, 80 years old of Westminster, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Transitions Health Care in Sykesville.
Born July 11, 1929 in Texas, She was the daughter of the late Religh H. Hargett and Edna Ethel Strahan Hargett.
She was the wife of Robert M. Cofiell.
She was a seamstress, an accomplished painter and enjoyed other arts and crafts as well. She liked dancing, camping and travel. She was a member of the Westminster Moose Lodge.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, John Wheeler, III, of Red Lion, PA., Dave Wheeler of Littlestown, PA., Paul Wheeler, Robert Wheeler of Florida, Daniel Wheeler of Carlisle, PA. and Deborah Talbot of Westminster, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 siblings, Donald, Jack, Leah and Clara Hargett all of Texas.
She was predeceased by her first husband, John Wheeler, Jr. and a grandson David John Wheeler.
Services are private.
