Goldie Louise Baublitz

Goldie Louise Baublitz, 97, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Long View in Manchester, MD. Born on May 13, 1929, in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Raymond John Geiman and Margaret Amanda Albright Geiman. She was the beloved wife of the late Grayson Edward Baublitz, who passed away in 1989.

Years ago, Goldie was a seamstress for the Manchester pants factory. She also frequented and sold produce at the Carroll County farmers’ market.

Surviving her is her daughter: Sandra Louise Baublitz of Hampstead, MD.

Goldie was predeceased by her sister: Catherine Renfro.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 23, from 9-11 am, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am.

Interment to follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hampstead, MD.
