Gonzalo G. Sanchez, 64 years old of Reisterstown, died Monday, July 16, 2012 at his home.
Born June 10, 1948 in El Salvador, he was the son of Eva Arias Sanchez and the late Guillermo Sanchez.
He was the husband of Myra Allen Sanchez, his wife of 37 years.
He was a chemist in quality control for Taylor Tech, a water testing firm. He also held a Dr. of Pharmacy Degree. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a past Grand Knight and member of Knights of Columbus at Sacred Heart
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children and their spouses: Cecilia Sanchez May, her husband John of Valdez, Alaska, Ana Sanchez Gerhart, her husband Matt of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and Gonzalo G. Sanchez, Jr. of Reisterstown. Also survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon. Rev. Msgr. Lloyd E. Aiken officiating.
A private cremation will follow at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel.
Interment Private.
