Gordon Peter Anderson, 90, of Silver Spring, MD, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at his residence. Born on May 11, 1927 in Bimidji, Minnesota, he was the son of the late Peter and Artea Anderson. He was the husband of Laurice Crawford.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Jay Anderson and wife Karen, Laurice E. Anderson, Scott Crawford, Lee Crawford, Janna Karp and husband Daniel, grandchildren: Brian Anderson, Jennifer Wilson, Sarah Karp, Christopher Karp and wife Joei, and great grandchildren: Lila Wilson and Elise Karp.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 6, at 1 pm at Riderwood Chapel, (by the Village Square) 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD 20904.
Interment is private in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
