Grace Thomas Brown, 74, of Ellicott City died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.
Born April 14, 1933, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Ralph H. and Claire B. Kessler Thomas. She was the wife of Albert Brown, her husband of 55 years.
She was a secretary in various real estate offices and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are son and daughter-in-law Tom and Terry Brown of Finksburg; daughters and sons-in-law Teresa Lynne and Tony Pitarra of Baltimore County, Jerri Louise Brown of West Virginia, and Jeanne Rae and Robert Galla of Ellicott City; and grandchildren Mike and Mark Anderson, Scott and Sara Brown and Jake Galla.
She was predeceased by a son, Frank Brown; and a granddaughter, Megan Brown.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, with the Rev. Robert A. Lilly, pastor of Catonsville Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be held at 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel.
