Thomas Gregory "Greg" Klein, 66, of Millers, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Dorothy V. Klein and the late Charles Henry Klein. He was the husband of Nancy Jean Klein, his wife of 43 years.
He was a retired cable splicer technician from Verizon Communications and a veteran of the United States Navy.
He was a member of Hanover Community Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren as well as collecting and restoring antique tractors, model railroading, gardening and traveling. In addition, he enjoyed having breakfast with his fellow retirees at Baugher's Restaurant.
Surviving, in addition to his mother and wife, are daughters Gretchen Bruns and husband Joseph, and Erica Marstellar and husband Scott; grandchildren Scott Marstellar,, Jr., Tyler Bruns, and Lilly Bruns; sister Ellen Mering and husband Tim; a nephew, Brad Mering; and nieces Elisabeth Mering, and Rachel Hermann and husband Aaron.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of memorial service, 11 a.m. Monday at Hanover Community Church, 1959 Smithstation Road, Hanover, Pa., with his pastor, the Rev. Scott A. Brown officiating.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory & Chapel in Manchester. Interment will be held at a later date in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills.
