Gregory Eugene Trump

Gregory Eugene Trump, 81, of Clarksville, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at his home.

Born on March 16, 1941, in Manchester Maryland, Gregory Trump was the son of the late Charles Roland Trump and Ethel Masemore Trump. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife Barbara Elaine Trump (Mahoney).

Greg worked for many departments within the federal government before his federal retirement. He was an early pioneer in the advancing computer industry. Greg worked on projects for NSA, NASA, and police departments across the country just to mention a few. After federal retirement, Gregory was a senior project manager for IT systems, Inc. Greg was especially proud of his work with different tribal police departments within various Native American reservations. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fulton, Maryland, and a member of the Lions Club of Clarksville, Maryland. Greg and Barb love spending time together and traveling throughout the world.

He is survived by three sons, Gregory Eugene Trump Jr. of Stephens City, Virginia; Dwain Christian Trump and fianceé Doreen Easton of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; and Daryl Tyler Trump of Clarksville, Maryland. He is also survived by granddaughter Kaitlyn Thornberry and husband Patrick of Denton, Maryland, and brother Dennis Edward Trump and sister-in-law Barbara Utz Trump of Lineboro, Maryland.

He is predeceased by his grandson Tyler Andrew Trump and brothers Charles Douglas Trump, Roland Scott Trump, Paul May, and Donald May.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 2:15 P.M. at New Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation, 4601 Forbes Blvd., Suite 130, Lanham, MD 20706.
