Harold Leon Sivert, 90, of Sykesville died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at his residence.
Born June 1, 1920 in Bridgeport, OH, he was the son of the late Daniel Boone Sivert and Bertha Lee Dukes Sivert.
He was the husband of the late Therasa C. Kantzes Sivert, his wife of 62 years, who died in 2008.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was an Airplane and Automotive Mechanic. He was WWII veteran of the United States Air Force.
Surviving are his children Paul M. Sivert of Annapolis, David J. Sivert of Sykesville, and Kathleen M. Herr of Reisterstown; his grandchildren James D., and Julie B. Sivert, Emily K. Johannes, and Kathren A. and Henry C. Herr.
He was predeceased by his daughter Christine L. Sivert.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday with Msgr. Lloyd Aiken officiating.
Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery in Reisterstown.
