Harrison Cecil, "Cecil" 80 years old of Finksburg, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at his home.
Born April 17, 1931 in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Willie Cecil and Cora Harman Cecil.
He was the husband of Linda Susan Wheeler Cecil for 22 years.
He served honorably in the Korean War with the U.S. Marines. He owned and operated the Reisterstown Citgo on Main St. He was a former member of the VFW and Reisterstown Moose.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Ray Cecil of Reisterstown, daughters JaNelda Schumacker of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Pamela Miller of Utah, stepchildren Shawna Ballantyne of Sykesville and Sheila Wymer of York, PA, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, siblings Edsel Cecil, Trula Babbington and Lily Richard.
He was predeceased by his siblings Enoch Cecil, Arlie Shatley, Etta O'Dell, Curtis Cecil, Willie Cecil and Sylvia Walsh.
Friends may call on Monday 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills, where services will be held Monday Evening at 8:00 PM.
Interment Private.
