Harry E. Kemper, 95, of Manchester died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at the Longview Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born June 19, 1912, in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Charles and Kate Stonesifer Kemper. He was the husband of the late Maybelle A. Shetter Kemper.
He was a retired timekeeper for Bethlehem Steel.
He was a 50-year member of the Hanover Moose 227 and Hanover Elks Club, both in Hanover, Pa. He was also a member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, Dundalk.
He enjoyed playing bingo and word books.
Surviving are children Jean Ogg of Manchester and Donald L. Kemper of Quarryville, Pa.; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Kenneth Ogg. He was the last of 10 brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with the Rev. Marton Roberson officiating. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Jacobs Mills, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
