Hazel Arminta Ashe

Hazel Arminta Ashe, 98, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at her residence.  Born on March 9, 1922, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter to the late Earl Gilbert and Juney Heintzmen Osborn.  She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur "Happy" Webster Ashe.

She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Arcadia, MD, where she taught Sunday school years ago.

Hazel is survived by her daughter: Peggy J. Beverly of Hanover, PA, grandchildren: Patrick, Dave, and great-grandchildren: Graham, Mikey, and Dylan.

She was predeceased by her children: Todd Arthur Ashe, Rebecca "Becky" Gottschalk and son-in-law: Mike Beverly. Hazel was also predeceased by a brother and 2 sisters.

The family would like to give special thanks to Carroll Hospice and Lorien at Home Caregivers.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 10 am–12 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102.  Due to the ongoing pandemic, face masks and social distancing are required.

Funeral services and interment are private.
