Hazel M. Ecker Miller, 95, of Baltimore died October 29, 2008, at her daughter's residence in Hampstead.
Born on November 5, 1912, in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Howard W. Ecker and Fannie E. Sharretts Ecker. She was the wife the late Buren Clarence Miller, her husband of 20 years, who died in 1960.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and loved to work in her garden.
Surviving are her daughters and sons in law Joan M. and Edward L. Granruth, Delores E. Bowers, all of Hampstead, Joyce R. and Brian Cavanaugh of Lumberton, NJ, and Linda M. and Robert R. Christy, Jr. of Sykesville; her son and daughter in law Donald G. and Patricia Miller of Manchester, PA; her 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with Rev. Clarence L. Roark officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Codorus, PA.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
