Helen May Goetz, 97 years old of Owings Mills, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Long View Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born January 27, 1914 in Owings Mills, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Winfield Williams and Effie Wetzel Williams.
She was the wife of the late John Henry Goetz who died in 1982.
She was a homemaker. She worked at Black and Decker through the war. She belonged to the Reisterstown Senior Citizens Center for about 5 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish for over 50 years.
She is survived by her 2 daughters and their spouses: Bonnie and Richard Keeney of Reisterstown and Marguerite and Randy Mentzell of Shrewsbury, PA., 2 grandchildren: Jeremy Mentzell, his wife Amber, and Alexandra Mentzell.
She was predeceased by her 5 siblings.
Friends may call on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon. Rev. Msgr. Lloyd E. Aiken officiating.
Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
