Helen Barbara Higgins

Helen Barbara Higgins, 84, of Hunt Valley, MD, passed away peacefully January 7, 2017 at Brightview Mays Chapel Ridge. She was the wife of the late James R. Higgins.
She is survived by her children: Maureen Higgins (William) Robey of Hunt Valley, MD, and Michael R. Higgins of Nottingham, MD, her grandchildren: Kathleen (Matthew) Borrison, James, Colin and Garrett Higgins, her great grandchildren: Violet and Annie Borrison. Her brother: Dr. Steven Poor of Boston. Also survived by many neices, nephews, friends and her furbaby "Daisy". She was preceded in death by Timothy and James Higgins.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 3-6 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills, MD 21117. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, January 14, 11 am at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Glyndon, MD.
Interment will be private.
