Helen G. Warner, 99, died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Country Acres Assisted Living, Westminster.
Born October 26, 1913 on the family farm in Reisterstown, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Warner and Darcie Benson Warner.
As a member of an extended family, she was active all her life in Community and Church activities. She graduated from Franklin High School in Reisterstown in 1931. Miss Warner worked in Quality Control at Bendix Corp. for many
years.
A life member of Reisterstown United Methodist Church, she served on numerous committees, including the Willing Workers. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her companions and care givers at Country Acres Assisted Living.
Surviving are a brother, James E. Warner, of Chincotegue, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owing Mills with a funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reisterstown United Methodist Church, 246 Main Street, Reisterstown with pastors the Revs. Steven Cochran and Brenda Lewis officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
