Helen C. Cullison Wennell, 66, of Manchester died February 14, 2010 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born on June 12, 1943 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Medley Wade Cullison and Helen Eliza Harris Cullison. She was the wife of John Richard Wennell, Jr., her husband of 37 years.
She was a homemaker who spent her spare time making crocheted items for friends, family and the community.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children and their spouses John R., III and Jennifer Wennell of Manchester and Melissa C. and Thomas Brathuhn of Lineboro; her grandchildren Ethan, Zachary, and Brady Brathuhn and Anthony and Laurel Wennell; her twin sister Carol Butcher; and her brother and sister in law Wade and Lynn Cullison and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter Carol G. Wennell, her granddaughter Jessamyn Wennell, and her brother Carl Nelson Cullison.
The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester and from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Lazarus Church, 5101 South Church Street, Lineboro with Rev. Sam Chamelin officiating.
Interment will be in Lazarus Union Church Cemetery in Lineboro.
