Henry Alvin Ruppert, 92, of Hampstead, MD, formerly of Florida, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore City, MD. Born on August 14, 1933, in Calvert County, MD, he was the son of the late William Albert Ruppert and Marian Mae (Mister) Ruppert. He was the beloved husband of 69 years to Mildred Arietta (Lachnit) Ruppert.
Henry was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and years ago attended the John H.B. Latrobe Lodge No. 165 in Cockeysville. He was an excellent craftsman and talented at painting, carving, and woodworking. For years, he owned and operated a construction company.
Surviving him in addition to his wife are daughters: Deborah Eyler, Katherine Farver, Wendy Pirchalski and husband John N. Pirchalski, and grandchildren: Tamara, Jeffery, Christopher, Kimberly, Michael, Lauren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Henry was predeceased by his brother: Vernon Ruppert.
Funeral services and interment are private.
Arrangements are by the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., Manchester, MD.
