Herbert Eugene Miller, Sr.

Herbert Eugene Miller, Sr., age 83 of Manchester, MD died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at Carroll Hospice in Westminster, MD. Born Feb. 2, 1932 in Millers, Maryland he was the son of the late H. Walter and Ella Florence Lippy Miller. He was the husband of the late Mary Ann Miller who died in 2001.
Years ago he was a machinist at Black and Decker. He was a member of Miller's United Methodist Church in Millers, MD
He is survived by his children, Rhonda Cullison of Boonsboro, Ronald Nickoles of Westminster, and Herbert Miller, Jr. of Manchester, siblings, Lois Neuman of Hanover, Charles Ivan Miller of Manchester, Helen Dickens of Westminster, and Evelyn Jeanette Nott of Hanover, PA. Granddaughters, Erin Foster, Tessa Gist and Kylie J. Miller. He was also survived by 3 great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by siblings, George Henry Miller, Walter Miller, Jr, Pauline Roth, Louella Sanders, Ruthetta Redding, and Ethel Detter.
The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 pm. on Thursday Dec. 10, 2015 at ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am. with Rev. Dr. Arthur D. Thomas officiating.
Interment will be private.
