Herbert Charles Waldheim

Herbert Charles Waldheim, 96 of Hampstead, MD passed peacefully Tuesday Sept. 6, 2016 at the Golden Crest Assisted Living in Hampstead. Born May 29, 1920 in Elizabeth, New Jersey he was the son of the late Charles and Charlotte Broughman Waldheim. He was the husband of the late Jeananne Welbaum Waldheim.
He was a retired pipefitter and welder for Local 9, New Jersey and a Navy Veteran of WWII. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and watching old western movies.
He is survived by his children; Randall Keith Waldheim of Hampstead and Kimberly McCarty of York, PA, brother; John Waldheim of Ohio, half-sister; Beverly Markant of Niagra Falls, half-brother; Robert Waldheim of New Jersey, grandchildren; Jessica, Jared and Arielle and great grandchildren; Charlie and Emily.
Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
